Soak the raw almonds for at least 8 hours, I have found that 24 hours is ideal and seems to make the milk creamier.
Put the 2 1/2 cups almonds into the blender, add 3 cups of water, 1 to 2 tablespoons of honey to taste, 1 teaspoon of vanilla and blend well.
Secure the nut milk bag over the container and pour the mixture into it.
Let the milk seep through the nut milk bag or squeeze it out.
