Learn about some of the avocado uses and benefits. We love avocados and use them in several recipes like guacamole, smoothies, scrambled eggs, avocado toast and more. They can be used as a skin care product like a facial mask or scrub, a natural sunscreen or a hair conditioner. The pit can be crushed and the milky liquid can be used as ink (who knew!). We usually just eat them.
Avocados have a good amount of fiber, very little sugar (1g of sugar per 150g of avocado) and almost no protein (about 3g of protein per 150g of avocado). They are full of monounsaturated fat (around 2/3 is monounsaturated) and nutrients, like potassium, B vitamins, 11 carotenoids and vitamin E.
