SAM-e: An Effective Anti-Depressant

What is SAM-e?

SAMe (S-adenosylmethionine) is a compound that occurs naturally in the body, and it plays an important role in metabolism, cell growth and repair, and mental health. The body uses this compound to produce various other chemicals and hormones, including melatonin and serotonin–two important neurotransmitters that help regulate mood, sleep patterns, and appetite. We have recently added this to our supplements and it has truly made a bigger difference than any other supplement we have tried.

Why is it important?

Sam e helps with metabolism and cell growth. It also helps break down fats so they can be used as energy by your body. This process is called methylation, which means “to add methyl groups” (groups of atoms). Methylation helps keep your cells healthy by making sure they have the right amount of DNA inside them at all times. Sam e is important for many reasons–it can help with depression and osteoarthritis, it can help improve liver disease, and it can even increase energy levels!

But what if you aren’t suffering from any of those conditions? What if you just want to feel better overall? That’s where sam e comes in. By increasing your energy levels and reducing inflammation (among other benefits), sam e can help you feel better than ever. And since it’s natural, there are no side effects!

How can SAMe be used to treat conditions?

Studies have found that taking SAMe may help reduce symptoms of depression when taken alongside traditional antidepressants like Prozac or Zoloft. SAM-e can be used to treat conditions like depression because it increases serotonin levels in the brain. Serotonin is one of several neurotransmitters responsible for regulating moods; when serotonin levels are low we may experience feelings of sadness or anxiety that can lead to depression if left untreated over time.

SAMe can also help with Osteoarthritis and Fibromyalgia

Osteoarthritis is another condition that can be treated with SAM-e because it reduces pain associated with joint pain caused by wear-and-tear on cartilage tissue over time due to physical activity.

SAMe helps with fibromyalgia by reducing inflammation in joints and increasing serotonin levels and reducing stress and anxiety. It also aids in the production of dopamine, which is associated with a feeling of happiness and well-being.

Some of the best rated sam e supplements include Nature’s Way SAM-e 600mg, Source Naturals Ultra Potency SAM-e 400mg, Nutricology SAM-e 800mg and Solaray SAM-e 400mg.

In conclusion sam e supplements are a great way to help boost your mood and overall health. They can also be taken in conjunction with other natural remedies such as fish oil, turmeric, vitamin D and magnesium.
